There are many benefits of being a business owner, as well as challenges. So in this video, we’re going to explore some of those.

Hi, I’m Doug Barra. I want to share a few ideas that have helped me as an entrepreneur. The first is the idea of finding joy and freedom in what you do. It’s important to be passionate about the service you offer and not just because it pays well. Choose clients that don’t drain your energy and resources instead of always choosing the ones with the highest profit margin.

The second idea I want to share is the idea of looking for moments of joy in life. One way to do this is by taking a moment every day and really focusing on how much good there is going on around you, even if it doesn’t seem like much at first. You can always find joy in everything you do if you choose to see it.

And last but not least, I want to say that building a business is about more than just making money. It’s about helping others and changing the world too. You might be wondering how is this possible in our current environment? Everything is so competitive that it seems like nobody likes their job. This is not true for everyone, just for most people. We’re on this planet to learn and grow from each other.

We find joy in helping others reach their goals and fulfill their dreams. So how can you find the freedom and joy of being a business owner? By making sure that you give as much as you get out of it. And remember, I started this company because I recognized something needed to be done. If you’re willing to do what needs to be done, your business will have a future and be successful along with the products and services you offer.

Understanding your purpose and the purpose of your business will go a long way to help you stay focused on what matters the most. Why are we all here? To grow and expand in every area of our lives, including experiencing freedom in business. Freedom in your business will ultimately come from having a team that can run the business and takes great care of your customers.

Ultimately in business, there is you, your team, your customers, and your business. And most of us are trying to take care of the team, the customers, and the business all at the same time. No wonder we’re tired! The proper structure is that you, as the owner take excellent care of your team, give them everything they need to take care of the customers.

The team’s job is to use everything you give them to take outstanding care of the customers. If the team takes outstanding care of the customers, the customers will take excellent care of the business, and the business will take excellent care of you. This is the way it’s supposed to work. You need to build a solid foundation for all this to stand on.
